Product Purchase Terms
Ordering products from sellers on Mechji.
You pay the seller directly using a method the seller accepts (for example cash on delivery or UPI). Pay only on delivery or as the seller's listing states. The seller records the payment. Ask the seller for an invoice or receipt. See the Payment Terms.
When your order is shipped you receive a 4-digit delivery code. Give it to the person delivering only after you have received your order. After five wrong attempts the code is locked for 30 minutes. See the Shipping & Delivery Policy.
You can cancel an order in the app at any stage up to and including "shipped". Once an order is "out for delivery" it can no longer be cancelled; you may be able to return it instead. The seller can also cancel an order before it is out for delivery, for example if an item is unavailable. If you have already paid, the seller refunds you — see the Returns, Refunds & Cancellation Policy.
Sellers must sell only genuine, safe and lawful products that match their description, with any required labelling, warnings and instructions. If you receive a product that is counterfeit, unsafe, recalled, damaged or not as described, stop using it if it is unsafe, keep the packaging, and report it through Help & Support or the "Report" option. See the Prohibited & Restricted Items and Services Policy.
We may update these terms from time to time. Each version has a version number and an effective date, and earlier versions stay available for reference.
When a change materially affects your rights, we will tell you in the app or on the website before it takes effect and, where required, ask you to accept the new version before you continue using Mechji.
