Product Seller Terms

These terms apply in addition to the Vendor Agreement when you sell products. If you also offer services, the Service Provider Terms apply to those.

• Use accurate titles, descriptions, photos and specifications, including condition (new, used or refurbished), variants and any safety warnings.
• Show the full price including taxes as required, and the delivery charge.
• Set whether the product can be returned and the return period (1 to 365 days). These settings apply to every order placed while they are shown.
• Sell only genuine products. Do not use brand names, logos or images you are not entitled to use. See the Prohibited & Restricted Items and Services Policy and Intellectual Property Policy.

• Confirm or cancel new orders promptly, and keep the status up to date as you process and ship them.
• You may cancel an order before it is out for delivery, for example if an item is unavailable; tell the customer why.
• Deliver with your own staff or a courier. Add the courier name and tracking number where you use one.
• Complete deliveries only by entering the customer's delivery code on receipt.
• Record the customer's payment when you collect it.

• Review return requests promptly and give a reason if you reject one. Do not reject requests the law or your listing entitles the customer to.
• Arrange collection of approved returns and update the return status as it progresses.
• Pay refunds directly to the customer by cash, UPI or bank transfer, and record the refund and transaction reference. The refund for a return is the price paid for the item; for a cancelled order you have been paid for, it is the full amount.
• Complete the return with the customer's return code only after they have received the refund or replacement.

You must meet product-safety, labelling, packaging and recall rules for your products, remove unsafe or recalled products at once, and tell affected customers.

We may update these terms from time to time. Each version has a version number and an effective date, and earlier versions stay available for reference.

When a change materially affects your rights, we will tell you in the app or on the website before it takes effect and, where required, ask you to accept the new version before you continue using Mechji.
