Service Provider Terms

These terms apply in addition to the Vendor Agreement when you offer services. If you also sell products, the Product Seller Terms apply to those.

• Describe what is included, what is not, and any materials the customer must provide.
• Choose whether the service is performed at the customer's location, at your location, or both.
• For services at the customer's location, set your service area — a radius from your base (up to 100 km) or a list of cities or PIN/postal codes. Only customers inside it can book.
• Choose fixed or hourly pricing and set your working hours.
• Choose whether bookings are confirmed automatically or need your approval.

• Accept or decline booking requests promptly. You can have a limited number of active bookings at a time.
• Contact the customer to agree the time, and keep the booking status accurate.
• You may cancel a booking before the service starts; tell the customer why. Repeated cancellations may lead to restrictions.

• Start work only after the customer gives you the start code, and within your working hours.
• Finish only with the customer's completion code, once the work is complete.
• Never ask for codes before arriving or before finishing, and never enter a code the customer has not given you.

• Fixed price: charge the listed (or discounted) price. Agree any extra work and cost with the customer before doing it.
• Hourly: the bill is your hourly rate for the verified time between the start and completion codes, minus breaks. Record only genuine breaks.
• Collect payment after completion, record it on Mechji, and upload an invoice that matches the verified bill.

• Assign only service agents who are qualified, legally allowed to work, and hold any licence the service requires.
• You are responsible for your staff's conduct and for the safety of the customer, their property and your staff.
• Reassigning staff before the service starts cancels the old codes and issues new ones to the customer.

Perform services with reasonable care and skill and as described. Resolve complaints promptly, and follow Mechji's decisions in disputes — see the Dispute Resolution Policy.

We may update these terms from time to time. Each version has a version number and an effective date, and earlier versions stay available for reference.

When a change materially affects your rights, we will tell you in the app or on the website before it takes effect and, where required, ask you to accept the new version before you continue using Mechji.
